Julian is a local farmer from the village of Tockwith on the edge of York where he lives with his wife Victoria and two children George and Florence. Julian is determined to make a difference for the villages and communities around York that make up the new parliamentary seat of York Outer. He is a renowned local campaigner
and committed family man. Julian said “As someone who is Yorkshire born and bred I am extremely proud to have been chosen to contest this new seat. I have grown up and worked in the York area all of my life and having this chance to represent my local area and put something back into the community is a great honour.
I care about the issues that affect York and our surrounding villages because this is my local community and the issues that
affect you,  affect my family and I. This is why I have been
running local surgeries across the constituency allowing people
to bring issues and concerns directly to me, I believe local people should be able to have direct access to their local politicians.”
Julian will be holding more local surgeries across the
constituency and welcomes constituents to comment on this website.
