I have had another busy week out campaigning for the by-election in Heworth Without. Last night we had a fantastic turnout of supporters helping deliver our main leaflet which allowed myself and a few others to carry on canvassing for Conservative supporters. I called on one farm towards the end of the night which had diversified into marquee’s, on chatting to one of the owners we both quickly realised that they had actually provided the marquee for my wedding some five years ago now, surprising who you catch up with when you are out canvassing.

The by-election will be contested next week on Thursday 6th of September so not long to go now, I will keep all readers informed of our progress.

Another great win for Leeds United today, now only minus three points.

As readers will soon realise I am a big Leeds United fan.

Welcome to this first post from my home office.   The nerve centre for my campaign to win the new seat of York Outer for the Conservatives at the next general election.

I have already had a busy morning meeting residents in Heworth Without  with our local by-election candidate Adam Sinclair. The response we received was very encouraging and I received a number of comments expressing their concern at how the Liberal Democrats have been running York City Council.
